Experimentally interpreting the design of a poster and book layout for Annie Ernaux’s powerful memoir, A Man’s Place, this project explored the visual contrast between characters within the narrative. It involved designing an engaging book interior and cover, alongside a thought-provoking experimental poster. By integrating typographic and literary techniques, the aim was to enhance the reader’s engagement, offering a deeper and more immersive experience. The design sought to reflect the memoir’s themes, capturing the nuances of Ernaux’s storytelling while pushing the boundaries of traditional book design.
