My fourth-year Graphic Design Major Project, Proactive Patients, empowers individuals to take control of their healthcare by providing inclusive and engaging resources. Created in collaboration with NHS Healthcare Professionals, these tools help individuals prepare for and navigate healthcare appointments effectively. Addressing diverse needs, including varying literacy levels and accessibility concerns, the project features booklets, animations, and Proactive Patient packs. By fostering confidence and reducing anxiety, Proactive Patients enhances the patient experience while supporting healthcare providers by streamlining appointments. Through research-driven design, the project aspires to improve healthcare outcomes and strengthen the connection between patients and their care providers.
